Baby Tabitha

Angela is getting close to full term and having our 4th baby and 3rd girl, Tabitha Hope. Due date is September 25th, but we kind of think we will have her sooner. No induction has been set yet. We do ask that you pray she arrives before Sept. 17th. That is the day Aaron’s work outage begins and we would love to have her here already so that Aaron can do his job, earn lots of money to provide for his family of 6 and so that Angela will have a few days with her husband before he isn’t around much. The Lord does answer prayers, maybe not how we want but we should still pray for the desires of our hearts!

I’ve done a horrible job this pregnancy keeping up with ultrasound pictures and pregnancy updates. After a while I don’t even realize I’m pregnant or need to update anyone. I don’t really even know what the heart rate has been for her all this time, or how I’m measuring etc. All I know is she is healthy, my measurements are on target (as the OB says), my weight is good. Although I am heavier than I’ve EVER been in my entire life!!! I THINK I’ve gained 20 pounds. Probably by the end 25. That’s not too bad!

Baby Tabitha has been wonderful to me, unlike her sister McKenna. Around 17 weeks I started to have hip issues, but they seem to have cleared up for the 3rd trimester. I still have an issue every now and then, but it’s not too bad. Think about an old woman trying to stand up and get her balance and then walk, that’s the issue I was having. Forget trying to hold a baby too.

The third trimester has probably been the best for me. Lots of energy, not a lot of pain, and she moves around a lot but not so much it hurts. Now the last few weeks I’ve had a lot of contractions, I’m tired and she is hurting me some when she moves. We’ve had Alien moments a few time this particular week (36 weeks). Over all though I would say this has been a great pregnancy.

About 20 weeks – face and then it’s a girl.

face of our girlI'm a girl

She had a hard seeing that it was a girl. We never saw any boy parts and she finally got a shot of some girl. After seeing the 12 weeks ultrasound the sonographer was confident that it was a girl. Here’s hoping she is still a girl!!!!

As far as getting ready for our newest addition, I’ve cleaned and purged every room in the house over the last 9 months. All that is left is some dusting and cleaning in the girls room and in ours. We need to wash everything and get infant things down. Put up the pack n play and buy a swing or at least borrow one. We still need diapers and wipes and a few infant type things but we know all that can be bought after she arrives or close to her arrival date. Babies don’t need a lot those first few days. That much we know for sure!

So the count down begins. September 1st is tomorrow, that’s the birth month! My OB says I should go into labor on Labor Day. We’ll see if that actually happens, I think I may try to go into labor then. I’ll be 37 weeks and that is 10 days before the outage. That would be perfect timing!!!

Oh, you're almost there!!!! I can't wait until I'm at the end of this pregnancy. Pregnancy kicks my rear end!! :) What exactly is an "outage" I've seen you refer to it before, but I have no clue what that means...
