This year we had more rain than we usually do. So we played in the house a lot. We all brought toys, games, and crafts for the kids so we did a little of everything all week long.
We also kept busy by visiting with Cierra and Nate at their apartment. And we saw Cars 2 in the theatre. We took 5 kids and 3 of them fell asleep during it. Oh well. We did go at nap time!

Grammie had a big birthday this year so we had the kids decorate a box for her. We asked all the kids to write a special note to her. Mandy and Emma are working hard on Emma’s letter.

Each child made dots on the box and glued something on. We also had shells and a picture to put on the box.

They all gave it to her together. And she enjoyed reading their notes. The adults wrote a message on the bottom of the box. She got a good laugh out of it at least!

The games were a lot of fun this year.

Sometimes a movie was in order! Ethan and Isabella loved sitting in the basket. I don’t know if any of the other kids got to sit in it.
McKenna and Gavin enjoyed being on the porch. McKenna loves being outside so she was so excited she could do this!
I brought some nail polish for the girls, but the boys were interested so Ethan and Charles got one blue super hero toe. The girls liked getting their nails done. We did pink and blue!
