I haven’t updated each family member in a while so I thought I’d do a little update before things get crazy around here.
Tabitha – still in utero. On Monday at 38 weeks 1 day I was dilated 3cm so her birthday might be soon. If not she will be induced on Sept 20th.
McKenna – She is a delight. Still sweet as ever. All that sweetest comes mischief too. She can be a stinker. She is getting into everything. She climbs up on the table or anything that looks like something she can get on. She gets into the crayons and colors on anything she pleases. She throws things away, random things, like baby blankets, toys and sometimes trash. She enjoys playing on her own, but loves to play with her brother and sister too. She loves to read books on her own or have them read to her. She is learning to clean up her toys too. She can get in and out of her bed. She has learned the art of stalling at nap time. Loves animals and babies. Can say a few words, ya (yes), up, ba (baby), bird and Ma (Mama). She’s starting to communicate better with us, whether she’s using words, sign language or pointing and shaking her head. She pushes her plate away from her when she is done eating. And if she says yes to something she usually smiles, nods her head and will say ya. She loves to go outside and tries to escape any chance she gets.
Isabella – She is also a delight! She is a funny girl. LOVES to talk, does not know how to be quiet some days. She loves to dance. Loves to imitate. Has a really great memory. Learning how to write letters and her name. Can memorize Bible verses easily. Has lots of great ideas. Can be very moody. Still loves princesses but has branched out to other interests now. Likes My Little Pony, Strawberry Shortcake, and Hello Kitty. She still talks about getting married almost everyday. And her groom of choice never changes, it’s always Josiah. ( friend from church) She loves to tease her friends and family. She is influenced easily but is also a loner, so she will play with her friends until she becomes uninterested and will move away from the group without any hesitation.
Charles – LOVES going to school. Has excelled in many things in the last 3 weeks of school. He likes his new friends and his teachers. He is slightly advanced but his teacher gives him challenging things to do when he is bored. He has decided to read books now. He knew all the skills to read just never would do it for us. With confidence from school he came home and wanted to read. Now he tries to read everything and asks us how to spell words. He’s learning how to write lower case letters and numbers. And this week learned about vowels and their sounds. He’s still very kind and sensitive. Has a tender heart. Loves to play with his Daddy. Loves to snuggle with his Mama. Loves to play with his sisters. And asks about his friends often. He’s a great helper, setting the table for dinner or helping to clean up toys or other things. He enjoys helping his Daddy fix things around the house (which we have had to do a lot of lately). He's a typical almost 5 year old boy. Loves to rough house, play with action figures and just be loud.
Aaron - started the fall outage today. Loves being a Daddy. Finding it hard to do everything in 24 hours that needs to get done. Helps me out a lot thus the reason why the days are not long enough.
Angela - waiting for Tabitha to come so she can have her body back. Looking forward to having all her children together. Enjoying these last few days of three kids. Grateful and undeserving of Aaron and all he does for me and our family.
